EN **Device Purpose**

The TE-CT device is designed to monitor temperature and provide an alarm when a preset temperature threshold is exceeded.

The device can be used to monitor various equipment, assemblies, liquids, water, coolants, and other media whose temperature requires supervision.

An overtemperature condition is indicated on a three-digit LED display and by an external buzzer. The buzzer sounds for 10 seconds.

**Setting the Temperature Threshold**

The alarm threshold temperature is set using the control button:

* A short button press displays the currently set temperature threshold. The display flashes while the value is shown.

* Each subsequent short press increases the temperature setting by 1°C.

* A long button press (approximately 1 second) changes the counting direction from increasing to decreasing and vice versa.

**Operation**

The factory default alarm threshold is set to 90°C.

1. When the measured temperature exceeds the preset threshold, the display starts flashing and the buzzer is activated for 10 seconds.

2. After the buzzer turns off, the display continues flashing as long as the temperature remains above the preset threshold.

3. When the temperature falls below the preset threshold, the alarm condition is cleared. If the temperature exceeds the threshold again, the visual and audible alarm cycle is repeated.
