Key Features:
LED Warning Light: Visual alert when the warning system is activated.
Audible Alarm: Sound warning to help attract the driver's attention.
Extra Engine Temperature Monitoring: Additional awareness of potential engine overheating.
Ideal for Toyota Prius Hybrid Owners: Designed for drivers who want an additional overheating warning.
Stay alert. Protect your engine. Help prevent costly repairs by responding to overheating warnings in time.
The PRIUS-CT is designed to signal when a preset temperature is exceeded. Various devices, units, coolants, water, etc. can be monitored.
Temperature exceedance is indicated by a two-color LED and an internal buzzer. The buzzer sounds for 30 seconds.
The desired temperature is set using a button.
- A short press of the button recalls the set temperature. The display flashes.
- A second short press of the button increases the temperature by one degree.
- A long press (approximately 1 second) of the button changes the countdown from increment to decrement and vice versa. There are three temperature alarm modes:
1. At the factory default temperature of 90 degrees C, the LED will flash red and green if the temperature exceeds 90 - 5 degrees C (i.e., 85 degrees C).
2. If the temperature exceeds 90 degrees C, the buzzer is activated (for 30 seconds) and the red LED will flash.
3. After the buzzer is deactivated, the red LED will flash.
When the temperature drops below the set temperature, the alarm cycles repeat.
